I do Zumba Gold and although my knee and back pain gets worse after class I still did Zumba Gold because I love it. One of the ladies in the class recommended that I try on Bloch shoes that were meant for dancing. God, I'm glad she suggested it. It made such a difference. I wasn't glued to the floor and I can turn around much better in class. My pain level is also much better. My only complaint is that I read the reviews and went 1 1/2 up so the shoe is a bit big. Maybe one size would be better. The shoes are not to blame. I solved the problem by wearing thicker socks. In addition, I would recommend these shoes to anyone engaged in any type of dance.
