This item was a bit difficult to apply as the instructions on 3 separate cards weren't the best. Attaching brackets to furniture takes a lot of effort even when using a power tool as the pre-drilled holes don't go all the way through and even after using the dowels there are still some parts loose and you end up making a bunch of holes in your walls so you don't try the find the perfect place to install it. Some of the pieces of wood were split but you can't see them as they were backed against the wall. The product description does not mention that the activity center needs to be installed on cleats or that a cleat finder is required until you start reading the installation instructions. My cat isn't too keen on this yet, I've tried to lure her in with treats and positive praise, but she also has a bit of trouble turning around with her chubby body lol. I hope she comes! =
