I threw away the crocs and thin sandals and took them on a few hikes and they worked great. I took treadmills and socks, put them on and it became comfortable and safe to walk around the camp. Branches, stones, dirt, plaster: no problem. It's like walking barefoot but you don't have to worry about getting hurt because the rubber soles are thick enough and waterproof with good traction. I washed them under the tap and they were easy to clean. Tossed them in my duffel bag and now they serve messy. No complaints yet.
