Review on Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens - High Resolution 16.2MP by Mateusz Jankowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Because of this, we now have an incredible camera, but it does have a huge drawback, which is that the shutter mechanism will need to be repaired if the camera is used frequently (very frequently). The first time I tried it, it failed at the fifteen thousand mark, and the second time, it failed at the twenty-five thousand mark. As a side note, there are a lot of people that don't fire that many shots in their entire life, so these are more of my criticisms. In addition to being an outstanding product, the case is long-lasting (in moderation). Numerous times he accidently dropped it, bathed it with fluids, but he didn't care because he treated everything like it was nothing. I just recently dropped it along with the flash, and as a result, there is now a significant crack surrounding the hot shoe. The shoe itself functions normally, however the flash that is attached to it hangs terribly. As a result, it appears that the entire top panel will need to be repaired or replaced. Because of this, I have already begun making the transition to the full-length D600, which has a magnesium body and a shutter that is guaranteed to last for 150,000 frames. I wish everyone the best of luck and success in their creative endeavors;)

Pros
  • 1) The matrix, and the matrix once more. She, like the processor, was an inherited piece from the D7000 model that came before her. The photo turned out great, especially after going through the RAW file in lightroom and pulling out all of the shadows and highlights with a bang. ISO 3200 is quite workable for posting on the World Wide Web because it is quiet enough for cropping. 2) What a wonderful swivel screen! The screen is perfect for watching videos on! I used it to record more over three hundred films, and if the user so chooses, they may deploy it with the screen facing inward, which will preserve the display while also conserving battery life. 3) A 3.5 mm port for connecting an external microphone (by the way, if you shoot a lot of video, you should definitely consider purchasing it because the built-in microphone is not of very good quality; you will be able to hear the focus ring turning as you adjust it). In most cases, I choose to remain silent regarding the noise caused by autofocus. 4) The ergonomics of this are excellent; no complaints here! 5) Sufficiently tough and long-lasting in its nature. He has been at my service for the past two years. 6) Auto ISO - in the settings, I set the limits for changing the sensitivity and shutter speed that I needed, and after that, you can forget about setting it up. After that, you can forget about setting it up. 7) Power source. In spite of the fact that it was only supposed to have 600 frames, I managed to get 1400 out of it. There is not a single product available at this pricing point that will last for that long. 8) The construction was of high quality; after two years, nothing had broken or become loose. Well, with the exception of one particular circumstance, but that's just my opinion; more on that in the comments. 9) Fast burst mode and a capacious buffer, in addition to many other features; a very amazing device
Cons
  • 1) Minus. Huge fat minus. We performed two rounds of repairs on the shutter mechanism. But, given my not-sickly run of forty thousand shots and my preference for the reportage photography speed, this is well warranted. 2) In addition to that, one more point, however this particular criticism applies to all Nikons: Now, let me get this straight: why didn't they add menu navigating using the wheel? This is a great convenience for canons, and it also makes navigating much more efficient for them. 3) There is only one button that can be customized. Yet this is clearly a work of inexperience, so what can you expect? 4) There is no autofocus motor incorporated into the camera. You will need to purchase lenses that already have an autofocus motor built into them, which are more expensive than lenses that do not have motors built into them. Nonetheless, considering the camera's cheap price point, these minor criticisms should not be taken too seriously given the camera's amateur status. 5) Autofocus is a creature that frequently hunts in the shadows. In addition, there is a single cruciform dot that is not buzzing. But the finances don't allow for much more.
