Review on 📇 A6 Card Scanner - Ambir Technology PS667 Simplex by George Halbohm

Before I bought this scanner I did a lot of research and came across conflicting reviews. However, I ordered this model as it matched my description according to my needs. I received the scanner a few days earlier than expected and it was great. The installation was explained very clearly in the supplied documentation and went smoothly. When I installed the software on my Windows 7 PC, I called customer service to see if the device would be compatible with Windows 8. The call was answered by a real person with minimal wait and was very polite and knowledgeable about the product. . According to the company, the scanner is compatible with Windows 8 - if there are any problems after the update, I will update the test report. I then connected the device, opened the software and calibrated the machine. It only took a few minutes and he was ready to go. The program is very easy to use, just check all your settings and adjust them to your liking. I will be using it to scan ID cards at a doctor's office and it produces nice color images. It only scans one side at a time, which is fine with me, but it gives you the option to scan additional images into the same file if you need the front and back of a card together, for example. You only have to apply the card twice, very simple. Overall, the installation was easy and the scanner works great. I am very impressed, highly recommend.
