My husband and I built most of our house after construction (metal workshop and attached house). When the drywall crew (we finally hired someone!) was tinkering with drywall last week, I begged my husband to agree to a sprayer instead of rolling the whole house. His brother eventually convinced him to get one. We had some reservations about this as some had issues but the loud chorus of people repeating the help they received from customer service convinced us it was worth a try. PERSON! Husband is not so good at reading and following instructions carefully, but at first sight it lit, lit and worked like a charm! He primed the entire open space (10 foot ceiling), kitchen, dining and living areas, and master bathroom before it got too dark to paint. We didn't get it until 2:30 a.m. and by 6:00 a.m. it was too dark in the house. Tomorrow we have to buy a lot more paint because it's going MUCH faster than expected ❤ I'll update if it doesn't last but we're both very happy! Edit to add - Day 2 to finish priming the rest of the house got a bit rocky and my husband was really mad at the sprayer. BUT, it was because he had relaxed a bit in the preparation. When I ordered the spray gun, I ordered 25 color filters and a spare tip. When my husband and his brother decided that the paint was taking too long to pass through a very fine sieve, no sieve was needed and the cheesecloth came loose. I agreed and drove 10 miles home, grabbed a colander and cheesecloth, and the color just ran off and picked up a few chunks. After 30 minutes the tip was completely clogged, we exchange the tips for the replacement tip I ordered, it clogged immediately. The husband scolds the sprayer. Finally we clean the tip with high pressure water and high pressure air and I insist that we do NOT continue until we filter it through the extra fine paint filters I bought when ordering this sprayer. Since then not a single problem. On the second day we finished priming the entire house and painted ALL the ceilings. Today is the third day, we rolled up 2 rooms and assembled a bathroom. If it weren't for this sprayer, we'd be cooking all day! We're not young people, we hurt insane already, and we didn't have to roll primer and paint on 10ft ceilings. But you MUST use a really good paint strainer and dilute it or you might scold the car for no good reason.
