Not that I don't like it. After all, it's a nice little Apple product that unfortunately doesn't work with my MSI laptop running Windows 10. I was hoping that this adapter would allow me to use the firewire-based Nikon Coolscan 4000 on my new MSI laptop , but since Windows 10 doesn't work that doesn't support the Firewire driver, I can't get it to work. I tried the advice of installing older Windows 1394 drivers, but after following these instructions very carefully, I still don't see "IEEE 1394" in my Device Manager list. By the way, this is a Microsoft bug, not a product defect. Before I buy this product I would like for me to do a more thorough search to make sure it works on Windows 10 and not just "Windows". UPDATE: I could be completely wrong with the comments above. I read another reviewer who mentioned that this adapter doesn't work with their new MacBook because it has a Thunderbolt 3 port and the adapter is for Thunderbolt 2. I realized I was trying to plug this adapter into my mini display port because it fits. It turns out Mini DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 2 connectors are the same, but that doesn't mean Mini DisplayPort is Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt 3 is a whole different quantity. I can possibly get this to work, when I first connect a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter to my laptop. Unfortunately, this is another $60 device. I could be completely overwhelmed with the above comments.
