Oddly finished product. It seems like a lot of effort has gone into making the bag durable and lightweight, but this is completely negated by the flimsy and poor lid. Why skimp on the part of your product that is most used and abused? Why add a critical vulnerability to a product intended to be a secure container for transporting liquids? The lid hinge is extremely thin. I'm afraid it will break after a few dozen uses. But even without paying attention, the lid itself does not close very tightly. There's clearly a gap around the seams that gives a lot of wiggle room, and there's a barely audible 'click' when the lid closes. It takes very little force to open the lid, so I'm concerned it might accidentally pop open in my backpack and spill liquid. I would pay extra for a much stronger lid. Maybe mine is defective.?
