Review on 🍳 TECHEF - Frittata and Omelette Pan, with New Teflon Select/Non-Stick Coating, PFOA Free - Purple by Michelle Doebke

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use, excellent omelettes

I gave this product an overall rating of 4 because I think it's really good for those who have trouble making omelettes and frittatas the traditional way. That's not me. However, for my son who is in college, this is a great learning tool. It's well built - don't worry about the pot falling apart. If you use a medium heat and don't slam it on the stove, I'm sure the look will hold up as well. First we tried cooking without oil and it didn't work. What worked was this: 1. Heat the pan on both sides. 2. While heating, cook the scrambled eggs. I used three eggs. 4. After heating, spray with nonstick spray or oil, then fill both sides with half the egg mixture. 5. Put the filling on the non-back side; Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. 6. Turn the egg only side up, then turn the pan over. I turned the heat down to low and let it sit for another minute and you're done. As you can see in my photo it came out perfect. I was able to transfer it to a plate and the filling didn't come out. Again, while I can cook the traditional way, this is a fun pan and very easy to use for my son and husband who can't make an omelet themselves. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it too!
