I've had these gloves for about a month now and I wanted them to be a good pair of Minnesota gloves. Unfortunately, apart from the upper arm, they are NOT WARM AT ALL. The downside will leave you with freezing fingers. I completely missed the return date because I bought them ahead of time to make sure I have a pair when I need them. The weather here was very cold for the time of year, with temperatures falling into the single digits by mid-October. I wear them in 20-30 degree heat for about 10 minutes and I would not recommend them. I'm not sure if anyone can make a decent glove. I tried another pair of Revains which lasted well for a year and then completely faded (no longer keeps my hands warm) which led me to this purchase. I'm guessing reviews and descriptions aren't everything, or maybe they just aren't true. Until -30f IS IMPOSSIBLE UPDATE 11.11.2020! I dug through the snow with a shovel and to my surprise my hands were warm the whole time. The only conclusion I can come to is that when moisture builds up in the gloves, heat loss stops. I seriously planned to throw them out after shoveling if they didn't work, but they did a great job. I also went jogging instead of walking and my hands are nice and warm again. You should probably call them "warm when active" gloves. So not five stars as they can't always be used, but a solid three for sure.
