Review on πŸ•°οΈ Timeless Elegance: Zippo Brass Pocket Lighters - Ignite Style and Durability by Tommy Willis

Great but. Best in Lighters

The lighter is excellent. I have matte brass but I chose this brass because it is so beautiful. The body color is dead on Revane's photos. The date on the case is D 21 and the insert is C 21. The insert is a very, very clean "brass" color, but like most Zippo brass inserts I'm sure that it will fade over time. The lighter came with a flint and the flint screw was not very tight. The hinges are of course 5-barrel, very new and have some rough edges (surprisingly the same as my 1949 Zippo, but one from 2020 has rounded hinge edges, not sure why). My ONLY complaint about it is that the top wobbles. Very quiet but just enough to hear when I move it in my hand and when I put it in my pocket. Also Zippo's famous "click" is different when I close it. More like metal on metal than the usual clip clicking sound you usually get. Maybe it's just me, but I have a lot of zippos and that's the only one making this noise. I would send it to Zippo for repair but is fine but definitely does not affect the functionality of the lighter. But if you think this is going to be a cool lighter and you're on the fence, go for it. You'll be glad you did. Just watch the sound of the bell ringing.
