Waterproof? Not even close!

What does waterproof mean to you? For me there is a difference between waterproof and waterproof. The former means you can safely submerge it in water, and the latter means it will survive splashes. This product is advertised as waterproof. Essential for a dog that loves to swim. Simply put, this product is not waterproof. A trip to the river was enough to permanently disable this collar. In addition, it is a reliable product. The range, battery life and performance of this collar is great. However, if you are looking for a waterproof collar, look elsewhere.
