Update: March 11, 2020 I tested my husband and found his O2 to be quite low, around 80s. We started monitoring it for a week and found it was consistently low. We made an appointment with his doctor and showed her the charts. She ordered several tests and now we know he has a blockage in his heart artery. This little device initiated a cure and potentially saved a life. You can't beat the graphics capability of this device, one read isn't enough, showing a timeline is what the story is really telling. Got a Bluetooth pulse oximeter today and after inserting the 2 batteries that came with it, it worked straight away. First I read the instruction manual that came in the box and then I read it. It started reading my oxygen and heart rate within a second. Then I downloaded the app to my phone. Set it up and get used to it. Bluetooth paired immediately, on the main page was my test ad! Excellent. I wanted to delete this reading and it was very easy. Very convenient. Then try it for a longer period of time. I did some deep breathing exercises, rested and lasted over 30 minutes. Reconnected to my phone and the new readings were on the main page. Excellent! Using the chart, I can determine my breathing and how my heart rate responds to each breath. This will put the screen to sleep, the only thing you'll see is a small blinking yellow dot to let you know it's still running. The features of this device are so nice that they are not like the good old pulse oximeters that only work if you look at them. even when you sleep to see your oxygen levels and heart rate later. You don't have to be awake to watch, it saves your information. You then simply connect to the app, click on new readings where you can save, print or send the graph if you wish. I saved my chart in PDF format on my phone's SD card. (See my photos) You now have a printed copy to take to your doctor or keep for yourself. Well! It's the same size as any other pulse oximeter, but it does MUCH more. It's packed with features. Comes with a nice pouch, strap, 4 batteries (only 2 used) and everything you need. I love devices like this, all I can do to keep track of my health is the right way. Gives a person peace of mind. Keep going Emma!
