What is green sandalwood? is at risk?

This is a nice comb but I am concerned it may be made from endangered sandalwood. If this product is made from endangered wood, Revain must remove these products immediately and ban the seller. Nowhere in the product information is this issue clearly addressed. I found scant information on the internet: "Green sandalwood. It's actually Verawood. (Bulnesia sarmientoi) A dense green wood with a very characteristic natural sandalwood scent. But from a botanical point of view, they do not belong to the same family. The great thing about Verawood is that it has a nice natural smell and the pearls [wood] tend to turn greener with age." Bulnesia sarmientoi is a tree native to the Gran Chaco region of South America on the border of Argentina , Bolivia and Paraguay.[2] Its wood is often marketed as "Argentine lignum vitae" or "Paraguayan lignum vitae" because it has similar properties and uses to "true" lignum vitae trees of the genus Guaiacum, the close relative Another common name is "vera" or "verawood", which may also refer to the more closely related species B. arborea. Another common but rather ambiguous name is Palo Santo [3] (Spanish for "sacred tree") ) which it shares with Burseragraveolens… Bulnesia sarmientoi was included in the IUCN Red List publication 2018 due to deforestation of the Gran Chaco and high global demand for wood, extracts and essential oils since 2001 al s listed as endangered. The IUCN estimates that in three generations the world population will decrease by about 50%. ... It has been listed in Appendix II of CITES since 2010.[4]" Wiki
