I put new batteries in and tried it.
I put in new batteries and tried it on my Sony BDP-S390 but it didn't work. It is identical to the one that came with my Sony Blu-Ray. I tested it by pointing at the phone's camera and pressing the power button, but the infrared light didn't come on. This unit is just as bad as the old one I was trying to replace. Very disappointing and I am sending it back for a refund.
