This voice amplifier works well but is expensive. But we decided to stop there based on the good reviews. It works well and the charge seems to hold a decent amount of time. But we have to be careful with the volume because it's very easy (and pervasive) to get that high-pitched feedback screech. We're going to buy a longer extension cable so we can move the base unit and microphone further apart. Overall we're happy with it, but not thrilled with the price or how easy it is to get this poignant review. Although beautiful and compact. But if you have a soft voice and need to turn up the volume to be heard, expect a lot of screeching.
