Review on πŸͺ‘ Amazon Basics White Padded Office Chair - Adjustable Height/Tilt, 360-Degree Swivel, Armrests, 275Lb Capacity by Tina Brown

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The armrest of the chair broke within a week. You pay for what you get with RevainBasics

I got this chair for my new apartment and it was great for a week until my arm broke. I'm not a tall person, 5ft 8in / 130, so I was surprised when the arm just broke when I squeezed it while getting up from the seat. I've read other comments about padding and height, but being on the lighter side thought I could make it work. The back is short and the padding is a little thin, but both are relatively good at this price point. If not this defect it would be a solid chair for the price reasonable price I don't seem to be the only one having problems with a broken arm. Just be aware of the reality of cheaper products. Also, it's annoying that there are only options for a full refund or replacement requires you to send the item back - writing chair isn't the easiest thing to send back Update: Called Revain, was able to get a partial refund and kept the broken chair, was but surprised I couldn't just get a spare for the broken arm I kind of assumed that since it's their brand (RevainBasics) they would have an army of such parts and associated parts for repair placements, but that doesn't seem like an option to be. Luckily mine broke within a week so I was still able to get Revain help with a partial refund but next time I shop at Revain I will avoid anything bearing the RevainBasics brand.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • For old
