I buy for the second time! Great chair and very cheap.

This is a great chair for the price. Chairs like this go for over $100 at Target and Walmart (I made a few purchases before settling on this one). I've always been afraid of arranging furniture, but this was the easiest thing I've ever had to put together. The chair makes a robust and very comfortable impression. I have had this chair for over a year now and also bought it for my brother in his room. Neither of us had any problems with it and it seems to be of excellent quality. The wheels have

Ideal for occasional home office use, not for full-time employees.

I don't see many reviews for using this chair as a full time task chair. This is probably because most companies provide decent seating for their employees, but in case there's another who thinks they're buying the cheapest chair for those who sit in it full-time, I wanted to be sure that this review was for she was. Invest some money in chairs for your employees and they will be much more willing to work for you. This chair is not intended for those who spend a lot of time in it. A week passed

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Quality

Possibly the most uncomfortable chair I've ever had. Just below the top padding (think the edge of a piece of plywood) is what appears to be a sharp, stiff edge running down the back, roughly level with the seam down the center of the back. The padding is grossly inadequate and doesn't even cover the chair's structural material. Sitting in that thing for an hour means back pain. After using this chair for two weeks, my back hurts. Anyway, I'm not a big person. I'm 5'10 and 140 lbs. I usually…

Nice chair but weak armrest (read updates)

I do not recommend this chair to everyday users. Less than two days after assembling the chair, I managed to break the right armrest while shifting my weight to correct my posture; I'm barely 155 pounds and the armrest couldn't even support my full weight before buckling. It's such a shame. The chair looks neat, feels good and is easy to assemble; Only the armrests are terribly fragile. Revain is currently (hopefully) replacing the armrest. I will update my review to see how it goes. (Update)…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

I got this chair for my new apartment and it was great for a week until my arm broke. I'm not a tall person, 5ft 8in / 130, so I was surprised when the arm just broke when I squeezed it while getting up from the seat. I've read other comments about padding and height, but being on the lighter side thought I could make it work. The back is short and the padding is a little thin, but both are relatively good at this price point. If not this defect it would be a solid chair for the price…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • For old

Lasts LESS than 6 months. DO NOT BUY!

Bought this chair in April for my desk at home where I work remotely. I was very happy with the comfort and ease of assembly for the first three weeks, but then the wear and tear started. 1 month after buying this chair the leather started to peel off the seat cushion. At 5 months (as seen in the photo) you can see how worn the front of the pillow is and how it will fall off. (It's also ALONG with a bi-weekly mopping to make sure the whites are still clean) I've put this chair to good use with…

Another great deal for the money.

I confess, when I bought this chair, I didn't even notice that it said "RevainBasics" in the title. But as it turns out, Amazing must have contracted with a Chinese company to make things for them on their behalf. And so you can bet that the quality of the item will actually be pretty good. Why would Revain throw her name in the trash? This chair is just a fantastic price. It was easy to put together, came with an Allen key and all as long as the hardware was in little individual bags with…
