The folio case is built for the iPhone with cutouts for the headset speaker and camera, so you can have your conversation without awkwardly holding the folio flap open. However, you can also use it hands-free - with the built-in stand, you can enjoy your movies and video calls without trying to improvise propping up your phone against something. In general, the stiff folio design provides drop and impact as good as, if not better, than most rugged cases.In many respects, this is a wonderful case for the person who needs the protection of a more durable case without the utilitarian appearance.
