Here's what you need if your ppm tests are around 800-1000ppm. I use it to test fertilizers with the water I will be using. This reading tells me if my nitrogen is good in the water or if I'm adding too much or if more is needed. I aim for 600ppm for all plants, you will also need distilled water for your test once you get the amount of fertilizer to use for the plant water you intend to use. Now you have to consider that well water or service water is different in both cases. check both at the end, write it down, aim for that ppm next time.
