Review on 1/4 Inch TRS/TS Coupler: 6.35mm Female to Female Audio Connector Jack Stereo Adapter Joiner - 2 Pack by Marvin Short

I should have remembered these things as I have used them for many years in my past life. But I didn't remember how badly they connected to speaker wire - a loss of connection to a guitar amp could damage the amp if the disconnect lasted long enough. They might be good for some applications but I bought them to extend the speaker wire on my tube amp and I immediately noticed the connection was lost and there was no sound and I was like oh no, now the amp is up not charged and it will do -destruct itself. (which fortunately wasn't the case). In any case, I highly recommend not using them to extend the speaker terminal of a tube guitar amp as the connection can be unreliable and can stress the output transformer - I think it's something that melts, fails or something like that. Does me sorry to repeat myself but i'm tired and i think i got my point across.
