Review on Bluetooth 3000Mbps Wireless Adapter Ultra Low by Johnathan Cash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works, but 3000Mbps?

I bought this as a birthday present for my sister to replace the Wi-Fi 5 USB dongle power adapter. I didn't use the extra power cable that plugs into the back of the card and then into the USB port as there were no loose cables on the motherboard. Didn't require Bluetooth which I think takes extra power. Installed the card and the latest Intel driver. I did an internet speed test and got 150Mbps and 20Mbps at the entrance. Your modem has a 400/20 port. Your WiFi router is TP-Link AX6000. I tested their old AC USB dongle and got 230Mbps in and 15Mbps out. Checked everything with a new adapter and wondered if I need this power cord. Removed the Intel driver and used the Microsoft Windows 10 driver and the speed went up to 250-300Mbps down / 20Mbps up.
