Great Computer, Best in Computers & Accessories

This computer ticks all the boxes in a laptop. Fast, responsive, cool, quiet backlit keyboard, thin, relatively light and all at a good price. The design is also very beautiful. You won't find many other full brushed aluminum cases in this price range. Acer is perfect for my taste with this build, this configuration and this price. The Asus Vivo machines were tempting, but they have a plastic bottom. I'm glad I found this before I pulled the trigger. In my opinion, Ryzen 7 is what you need. It's not until you get the i5-8250 + Nvidia MX150 combo that they become equal in performance. In this case, too, Ryzen 7 is inferior in terms of efficiency. This is very powerful for a 15W chip. I plan on using this primarily for performance, but I like that the GPU gives me room for light gaming. Ryzen 5 is also a good choice when the price just isn't affordable. The only thing you get with Ryzen 7 is a slightly higher clock speed and 2 more GPU cores for better graphics performance. Cons: (1) Battery life isn't that great in my short time with this machine. I plan to be online most of the time so it's not a big deal. I have a feeling the battery size might be the only angle cut, but it's been tested for each box and I'm not complaining about the price. Just don't expect it to last several hours without a charger. (2) The screen is nice, but I've noticed slight bleeding on some edges of a black screen. This is only the case when the brightness is turned on on a black screen. Other than that scenario, I don't see or notice it. This is definitely not a deal breaker, just something that caught my eye. Apart from these two remarks I have nothing negative to say. TO UPDATE. Still a great notebook for my purposes. Some things to consider. Unfortunately, the main memory is soldered to the circuit board and cannot be upgraded. An M.2 B+M slot with SATA III interface serves as a hard disk. It can be upgraded to a larger drive, but make sure it's the correct slot key and SATA (not NVME). I am posting a photo of the drive to make it easier.
