Review on 📱 Brother DS-740D: Portable Duplex Document Scanner for Efficient Mobile Scanning by Scott Bradford

I bought this product to scan simple pictures and children's art projects. I read all the reviews and felt it had the features I needed - nothing fancy or affordable. The installation went well, but there is no instruction manual! I found one online and obviously you just upload an image and click scan, but if you run into problems it would be nice to have documentation on how to fix the problem. The scanner never scanned the whole thing. It would stop about half an inch from the bottom and smudge the image. Every picture I scanned (they were normal pictures! Appropriate weight and type) had a bar at the bottom and part of the picture was missing. Once the image is stretched, it goes up. When the picture stopped moving I picked it up and it seemed to be stuck in the car. I calibrated it three times, opened and cleaned the glass and rollers and nothing changed. It's wasted so much time that I have to send it back. I was very disappointed in the quality for the price. Damn. I think I'll look for someone else now.
