I was working on a wiring project at my house and because I was re-routing some coax cables I decided to also re-route some CAT 6 cables to run coax and ethernet in any space that requires it. I found a great crimping tool for compressing coax cables and decided to try ethernet as well. Luckily I came across this set. What caught my eye was the included cable tester. I've included a short 30 second video showing one of the shortest cables I've made and tested and it really works. You need a 9V battery which is not included. Hopefully you have some of these but as you can see in the video the cable is well tested. You get three different tools that can cut wires, but I found the yellow wire stripper worked. best accuracy. I used the included yellow pliers to make a clean cut, the yellow wire strippers to strip perfectly to size and the crimping pliers of course for crimping. The extra connectors were a bonus and saved me from having to buy a few separately so this kit really has what you need. I would definitely recommend this set for any home.
