Fit dimensions do not match the type of door it was designed for. in front of the door about 1-3/8" from the front of the cabinet. If you use 3/4" thick doors, you have a 5/8" gap between the cabinet and the back of the door, that is quite a bit. I made the doors 1" thick -1/4" so the clearance between the closet and the door is much smaller. Since the front of my closet is flat, I want to use U-rails at the bottom. I cut They slit along the bottom of the doors, but the depth of the U-rails is about 1-1/16" at the lowest setting. This requires the slit to be very close to the front of the door and the wood to be kept to a thickness Minimum These tracks appear to be designed for full size doors, although this kit was designed for a 'mini' barn door track that came with the kit.
