I striped our outdoor wooden staircase and it looked great until the first rain. The photo above was before the rain. The wood had a fresh primer and two coats of paint and was dry - the weather was nice, the temperature was around 70 degrees and I rolled the product tightly on the stairs after installation. After two days it started raining and the strips slid down and lifted easily - like they had lost 90% of their stickiness. I called the phone number on the package and it turns out I wasn't the first to have had this happen. The rep advised me to buy a can of 3M Super Stick 90 and apply it to the strips, reapply and then seal the edges. I do not think so. If they require this adhesive on the product, it must be so and the customer does not have to repair their faulty product. It would be nice to get a refund - I bought two packs.
