Review on Adidas Women's Cloudfoam Track Standard Athletic Shoes: Ultimate Comfort and Performance by Tracy Heidebrink

If you want severe tendonitis these shoes are for you.

"I love these Adidas Cloudfoam sneakers! They fit perfectly, they are light, ideal for training, the tongue is built in so that it does not move during training. I highly recommend it too!” That was my review the day after purchase. All was well and good at the gym. After going to the gym 3 times, running on a treadmill for 15 minutes, cycling 7 mph for probably a total of 7 out of 15 minutes, and then lifting weights for 75 minutes, I started having severe pain in both knees near MCL to feel. I tried to ignore it, thinking it was just sore muscles from working out. Then I started getting pain in my ankle. Gradually it got worse and in the end I couldn't even walk. I was beginning to suspect it was the shoes because those shoes don't give any support. In the end I returned them and continued training in other shoes. The damage was done, and much worse was to come. I'm a nurse so I just tried ice cream, took ibuprofen and rested. It didn't work so I went to the nearest ambulance. After 7 x-rays I discovered I had severe tendonitis and swelling in my ankle and both knees. Luckily it wasn't a hairline crack, which I think could be related to the excruciating pain. My treatment was 2 weeks of no gym, ankle wrap, naproxen, rest and icing. An uncomfortable result considering I go to the gym 5-6 times a week. SUMMARY: Do not buy this shoe if you will be using it at the gym.
