This pump is sensitive. It won't start pumping half an inch of water.
Tried to pump water out of a swimming pool with this pump. It won't start pumping if it's in half an inch of water. It will let you know when it's fully loaded. The thin bottom cover is already broken. If you don't work to finish the water with this pump, you will be fine. I finished my shop vacuum and carried the buckets. Damn. Now I bought a real universal pump and it was great.
