I got off this board, learned to be 99.5% wrong but never gave up. After a few years I replaced the soundboard because of the sharp ends and the popping stopped. Surprisingly, I still use the same bogies and wheel bearings. I have removed, cleaned and oiled the last one several times. With Ollie's countless failures on concrete curbs, I can't believe the trucks are still running. They're not the easiest, but very useful for students. No need to worry about them falling apart or cry when they look awkward due to mishandling. The wheels were too stiff for my personal preferences and rough roads, so a few months later I replaced them with a larger, softer set, keeping the bearings and other hardware.
