I've had this product for over 6 months now and it's great. There are more than 50 devices in my network, about 20% of which are smart home devices. I'm sure you know (why else would you look at d.moat?) that many smart home/IoT devices are not built with security in mind and are not updated as often as today's threats require. My d.moat gives me peace of mind that my network is still secure, even though manufacturers don't care about security. The product itself is very easy to use, plug it into the wall, connect it to the router and start it up. Appendix. As detailed in another review, the app is still rough, but it's getting better. Despite the crude UI, I can tell from the data provided that d.moat is getting the job done. It provides notifications of potential security vulnerabilities that I can fix (like default admin passwords, etc.) and blocks numerous active attempts to access devices on my network. I can also attest to the company's excellent customer service. I had some connection problems when I started d.moat for the first time. The cause of the problem was not clear (idmoat, router, ISP, etc.) so I contacted the company. After extensive troubleshooting over the phone we started d.moat and I've been happy ever since. service and the fact that they only have one product on Revain). I want positive feedback and hope they do well.
