Medium size. Our dog is a Beagle mix. About 30 pounds and the girth was ONLY marginally small to medium. So we thought. All settings are as tight as possible. But there is room for growth as she is only 8 months old. Happy with the size. Pros: The grips are great. she jumps out of the kayak so violently that i have to keep pulling her back in. And they hold up great. The life jacket floats. She wears it with no problem and doesn't seem to mind moving in the water. Cons - as others have said. The straps don't stay tight. Velcro works and it's cool. But her foot got stuck in the belt as it came loose. That's the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars.
