OK. I have a south facing window with sunshades which are very expensive and a little short so the bright sun hits my light sensitive floor about 4 inches. . I purchased this product, cut it in half making a strip about 8 inches wide and attached it to the bottom of the window. Installation was easy. He blocked the light completely and continued to move very slightly. Perfect for my needs. The only potential problem would be if it came loose, but there were no complaints about that. Here are my installation suggestions. I cut the product about half an inch longer than I needed. Then I washed the window thoroughly. I had a 16 ounce water bottle with 3 drops of dish soap. I sprayed on the window, cleaned the product and sprayed water on the back. Therefore, when you put it on the window, it slides very easily. It was very easy to move and set up. Being new I poured a little more water than needed which took more effort to wash it off. It doesn't require much water on any surface, a light spray is enough. A lot of people use credit cards as squeegees, but I've used 3" and 6" flexible drywall knives and they worked like a charm. It was very easy to install, it works exactly as I hoped it would. I highly recommend this product.
