This grass mat works great. Ordered a second one after using it. It works just as well as the one that came with the pot tray and herb pad system I have. It is used on a pot support with a daily changing pot insert. It drops a little grass when you first get it, but then it stops. And it comes in a roll, so it takes a little while to flatten the shape completely. But once you start using it and wash it once, it's fine. I always have a clean one ready. They only need to be washed once a week and they don't smell. I wash them outside with a hose. Rub it with a broom and some detergent. Use some bleach, rinse and dry on a ladder in the garage.
