Works on 08 F-250 XLT 6.4
Replaced the broken original with 08 F-250 XLT 6.4 , the original is in two parts. The first part is a black plastic ring around the white bulb socket and the second part is the part that snaps onto the bumper which you can see in the picture alongside this review. This Dorman 68163 has eliminated the black ring that goes around the bulb socket so long story took the whole bumper off and pulled out the license plate bulb and punched out the hole, stuck it in and locked it in and pressed and it snapped in place and is tighter than OEM anywhere.
