rolls. The set contains 27 Velcro rolls (nine 1.5", nine 2" and nine 2.5"). The curlers hold my hair well. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and I used a medium size for the top layer of my hair after the shower. When I took them off in the morning I had a lot of volume and a slight curl at the end. I could probably get nicer curls out of this, but I'm lazy and didn't want to bother. Like all velcro wheels they aren't very comfortable, but I've had wheels like this before so I knew what to expect. Clamps - These clamps are cheap. I used to have reels with metal clips, while in this kit the reels are plastic. I used the clamps to hold the reels on my head while I slept and literally took a breath before even dipping into the beads. There are a lot of clips in the kit, but I don't want one to break every time I use the kit. The metal handle is tapered at the end but not sharp. I found it easy to part the hair and the comb part itself works well. Also, I didn't pay attention or notice that this set doesn't come in a carrying case. The whole set is packed in a large plastic case with a separate zip pocket with rollers and clips and a second pocket for the comb. For lack of anything better to store them I keep them in a larger plastic bag but wish I had something to protect them especially if I decide to travel with roller skates. There were also no instructions on how to use the reels. The Revain product page provides this information and YouTube tutorials are available to view. For the price this is a really good set. The rollers and comb are great, the clips need some work but I would choose this set again.
