I've read reviews where people said they had trouble starting. I've looked at how to make youtube videos and run each one with no help and they all work great. I think the trick is to let them inflate with hot air until they're fully swollen and then release them. You also want the wind to be as calm as possible. Even a light breeze can blow the flame onto the paper and damage it. The paper is fireproof, but it's still rice paper that catches fire easily. I think it was a good buy for me and I plan to buy more for ceremonies and celebrations. I had a lot of fun leading them.
