This DVR suffers from several problems for me, although I know that others have made it work. Firstly, there is no official Android app for your phone on the Play Store. You need to change your settings to allow unknown third party applications. Secondly, the Anneke View app mentioned in the manual does not exist. There is Annke Vision but I can't get it to work. The user interface and instructions are on par with any CCTV DVR - absolutely terrible. How this industry will survive I will never know. Thirdly, you need to contact the company to reset the admin password in case of loss. The device sits in my office and the reset button on the device itself should do the trick. I lost my password manager when I switched computers and am in the process of replacing this device with another device before an inevitable power outage occurs that requires a password login.
