Review on 🌿 Environmentally-friendly Bamboo Paper Towels - 30-Count Pack of Super Absorbent XL Towels (12x11 Inches) - Reusable & Biodegradable by Mayur Kreps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Softer and softer than other bamboo towels but there are a few downsides

I have tried several bamboo based 'paper' towels and in general they all work well and have several advantages over traditional ones. Paper towels, mostly reusable. These towels are a bit plush and softer than other brands I've tried. Softness is a plus when it comes to hand washing/rinsing for reuse - they hold up to multiple washes better than others. The softness is a plus when it comes to using it to polish items. The downside is the size of the towel. It is perforated so each towel is quite large (approx 11 x 12 inches). This is great if you need a large towel, but I often get by with a smaller one. Carefully breaking them won't work, so they need to be cut. It would be better if they were perforated in half so you can choose the size depending on the task. The price far exceeds what you would pay for paper towels, but they can be rinsed and air dried multiple times, so 1 roll can replace several regular paper towels. Of course, washability depends on how they are used. For example, if a towel is used to remove grease stains, that's it. I try to limit "one-shot" tasks to towels that have already been washed a few times, so I throw out a towel that's near the end of its life rather than a brand new one. A good bamboo towel option, while not perfect, it still delivers a 5 star performance.

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Very expensive
