It shouldn't be a huge surprise that an item like this will have some wrinkled and droops, some bunching and some stretching, because it's meant for many different sizes of couch. It's very stretchy so it's easy to get on a loveseat to even a normal sized couch, but it isn't uniform in stretch, so there will be bouncy sections on your back or floppy sections here or there.In fact, it looked more like a sheet over the main part of my couch.That said, I really think this is a good product, if you manage your expectations. We have babies, and we have a dog, and we can easily wash this and have a clean couch again. We can shake it out and remove a lot of hair and little bits of whatever. It does protect our couch from stains, to an extent, but if you're considering this, you probably aren't trying to get your living room in Architectual Digest. Nevertheless, if you need to protect a nice couch from dog hair or other damage, this would probably do the job.The elastic and fabric are well attached. You could damage them, but you'd have to do it on purpose. I have washed this several times without any problems.
