Review on πŸ”’ The Club 1234 Basic Club Steering Wheel Lock in Sleek Black Finish: Optimal Security Solution by Michael Swanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Affordable, easy-to-use anti-theft device

There are several versions and manufacturers of steering locks, but this 90's classic is still the best. I had a red original many years ago and don't know why I stopped using it. It's quick and easy to place on the steering wheel of an SUV that's large enough for a regular car, yet not too bulky. If you simply turn it diagonally from SW to NE, then the wheel can no longer be turned to the left. It doesn't seem to have the kinking problem that some fancier versions have. I'm going to wrap the end with yellow tape to make it more visible. The mace alone is very effective, but in this case it's primarily a visual deterrent as the car already has an electronic anti-theft device. I just don't want to deal with a broken lock etc. I hope sticky fingers see this and decide it's not worth the hassle.
