I still use that quick sweeping brush to pick up dust when I put vinyl records on the platter, but the polyester lens cloth picks up the stains. more efficient to be honest. I'm using this brush less and less and switching to other types of cloth towels. I think I spent a lot of dollars learning my lesson. I can't expect anything serious from these little plastic brushes. And not with that extra sharp brush and I have scratches on my pristine quality records. The shipping box was also crushed. Mentioning this unsatisfactory result, I was advised to purchase a complete record washing machine in the $200-$400 range if I became a serious collector, or the owner of my vintage record store would offer to clean my records while I went to him return shop.
