The Collector Protector record cleaner and carbon brush didn't work for me. The brush handle broke after 4 months of minimal use. The handle didn't break while cleaning the records, but because it fell 15cm on the coffee table. A very fragile item. As you can see after a few months of use, the bristles on the brush have broken off. I didn't put any pressure on the brush when cleaning my records, it's just that the bristles crumple with normal use. The cleaning solution is useless! Use sparingly

I recently received a box of my old vinyl records from the 70's and 80's as a gift. The 4 corners of the base of the brush (red) are laser sharp and until you get used to that tiny grip, a small mistake will leave a gross scratch on the records. And I had no idea why I was leaving the scratches and this time I thought it was the hard brush tips, then my hand got scratched and I realized all the corners are too sharp to get anywhere near plastic panels . So just sand down the corners before you even try. And while it gets rid of some large stains quickly, it creates static…
