I've been wearing the venerable TG 4 on a daily basis for a number of years. I was one of the people who got hurt (that's how it feels) when the TG 5 pissed on our favorite shoes. I bought this TG 6 when the knitted 4 ran out. I was skeptical that they would continue with the remodeled Hate Fives structure but was glad they reverted to a smaller structure. Now the design resembles a 'shoe' rather than a 'leg burrito', but it's much smaller than the previous generation. To be honest, this is one instance where Merrell should have stayed out of the shoe kitchen altogether. Four did not need to be renewed. They should have just added colors and maybe new fabrics.
