Beautiful in 40 working days

12/12/2018 - Summary: I've looked through two of these cards. The first didn't work at all, the second worked less than two months. It was nice when it worked, but it should work. I will never buy an XFX product again. I spent about 6 hours fixing this card. So far I haven't gotten it to work once. System messages, Windows sounds tell me Windows is loading but I NEVER get any video. Forced install the driver over the old graphics card and roll back with the new driver. Nothing yet. This isn't my first graphics card installation and I've never had such poor performance. I have a mistake? EDIT: The first one never worked, but the replacement worked fine. I had to buy a new power supply to get full use of it. While I have a demanding system, 500 watts wasn't enough to keep it running at peak efficiency. What I'm saying is that now that it's working properly for me, the image is GORGEOUS. I love it. EDIT 12/12/2018. So my XFX Radeon RX 580 saga is over. I am returning the card after Revain's very helpful support went through diagnosing issues with a second card replacing the one that didn't work to begin with. I had the map installed for about 40-45 days before it shut down mid-game one night. The system didn't even send any messages, so I figured it might be a problem with the motherboard or the power supply I bought to power this card. Diagnostics turned out to be the graphics card, which I think indicated that the card was defective. (Many thanks to Revain Product Support!) This even prevented the system from sending messages in POST. Today this card is on its way to UPS and I will never buy another XFX product. I can be quite forgiving and admit that sometimes imperfect products survive. However, this alerts me to a larger problem.
