It works out! for antennas

This product was used in a 20 year old Lexus GS300. This machine has never been manufactured with a factory standard antenna. It had a proprietary antenna built into the dash with a secret black-box noise canceller. It didn't adapt to Sony's new radio replacement. Sony's new radio lets you use a rear camera and we figured it would be a decade to upgrade. This is my wife's daily driver and she mostly listens to Pandora streaming from her smartphone. At first we didn't catch ANY transmitter without an antenna. I found it important to have radio broadcasts so that we in the Bay Area of San Jose, California are informed about earthquakes and wildfires, road closures, etc. Hurricanes, tornadoes, pandemics and civil unrest could be the best causes for others. A little research on Revain led me to this product and a less expensive flat bar antenna, both of which are made to stick to windshields. I had a competition and both did very well. The new total was 23 FM stations that were "heard" better than others, including those with ethnic stations. Another flat bar antenna was cheaper, but received one less transmitter in the competition. Both antennas received 4AM stations. This antenna turned out to be clearer than the cheaper one. For 1/3 the cost of this would be fine, but maybe a little more visually intrusive. Another good thing about it is stealth. It is located in the shaded part of the windshield behind the rearview mirror. The car is not visible from the outside. The 3M VHB tape is more than enough to keep it in place. When it comes time to replace the windshield, it is better to add a new antenna to the cost of replacing the windshield. Prepare the surface with rubbing alcohol, let it dry and clean first, and then stick it. Apply even pressure with your finger to tighten the connection. Complete healing overnight. In fact, they use this material to glue the paneling of truck trailers and the paneling of airplanes. In my test I tried to position the antenna in the space between the radio and the underside of the dashboard. About a third of the channels fell off the list, and quality suffered as a result. There was a lot of wiring that had to be routed through the dash to the A-pillar, then up and back to the rearview mirror area. guarantee that it will not slip. After installing it, I rolled it out of the garage and the reception only got better. For many this may be the solution you are looking for, works for me.
