This nine cube storage is not bad. It is fairly easy and quick to assemble and seems sturdy enough for normal use. However, I expected all the pieces to be identical so I could convert the pattern to 3x3 from the 3-3-2-1 pattern shown in the picture. This is not possible as the plastic legs are NOT identical - the inner pieces have rod inserts on both sides, while the end pieces only have holes on one side. So you're stuck in a 3-3-2-1 formation. In addition, this device is designed for 12-1/2-inch cubic boxes or smaller. The large 13" is cramped and can cause the frame to fall apart. If you only need 12" storage cubes, this unit is a good buy. But if you want to store bath towels, you'll need something larger. Cons: Fixed 3 -3-2-1 pattern, not interchangeable.There are no back panels to prevent items from falling behind the block.Keep the pieces together, they won't snap.
