When I took it out of the box I was extremely disappointed. I want to know that toys with a mouth can be cleaned easily. However, these cannot. The description does not say that each bullet has a hole and is only clean on the surface. If they didn't have holes they would be amazing. They're easy to hold with small hands, the different textures are great for sensory exploration, and they feel very durable. However, the hole allows saliva and moisture to freely penetrate the ball. This can lead to mold growth over time, which to me is a categorical NO. My son is 11 months old. EVERYTHING goes into his mouth. Cleanliness is extremely important.
