This gave me a huge headache when I first wore it to swim. Like a great bandage that tightens when used on a sprained ankle, this cap kept getting tighter on my head. Latex is preferred as it is thin, more flexible and won't slip off. No matter how hard I pulled it away from my forehead, the contraction continued until I removed it. I lasted 10 minutes! My swimming coach said that "the first few times you put it on it will be tight until it stretches a bit." There's no way I would have lasted "a few times". I got home and put it over the mixing bowl like a bowl lid, then heated it with a hair dryer and left it overnight! Today was much better. Aha!
