When I got this 5/8 full flow (through both ports) a thick hose was what I was looking for. The plastic liner on the socket is great. The softness of the connector's metal material makes it relatively easy to damage threads on hard surfaces. The hose material of this high-quality HPressure HD RV hose fulfills the 10-year guarantee stated on the packaging. Lately tubing material becomes too flexible at 90 degrees, bends relatively easily, and after baking in the hot 90+ sun, it becomes strange to curl up for storage. Does the hose shrink when it's hot or maybe when it's cold? Despite this, the hose still feels solid and thick. Decent hose with well attached fittings. We look forward to better results with cooler weather and more careful use. PROs have 5/8" flow through the entire hose. Not many inexpensive RV hoses are built this way.
